Connect a New Bank Account

Once connected, transactions from the linked bank account will be automatically imported into the Song Nhi App, making financial tracking easier.

Connect A New Bank Account

To connect a new bank account:

• Click “Connect New Account” at the top right of the screen.
• A Plaid pop-up window will appear, explaining:
  • Secure Connection – Plaid is a trusted financial service used by 8,000+ apps.
  • Data Protection – Best-in-class encryption is used to safeguard your information.

• Click “Continue” to proceed.

Enter Your Phone Number

Next, Plaid will prompt you to enter your U.S. phone number:

• Select your country code (+1 for the U.S.).
• Enter your phone number in the provided field.
• Click “Continue” to proceed.
• You can also choose “Continue as guest“, but signing in with a phone number allows quicker logins in the future.

Once verified, you can proceed to select your bank and log in securely.

Confirm Your Bank Accounts

After verifying your phone number, Plaid will display a list of accounts you can connect:

• Your bank name will be shown. Select a bank and click Continue
• The available accounts (e.g., Checking • 0000, Saving • 1111) will be listed along with their balances.

• By default, all accounts are selected, but you can uncheck any accounts you do not wish to link later.
• Click “Continue” to finalize the connection.

Once completed, your selected accounts will appear in the Connected Accounts screen within Song Nhi.
